Where it goes

Mostly muscle, some brain

About 95% is stored in muscle. The rest helps fuel your brain.

What it does

The number one question we get

Will creatine make me bloated?

No

Creatine pulls water inside your muscle cells. That's where it helps them work.

Not bloating

Will creatine affect my hormones or menstrual cycle?

Is creatine safe for women?

Creatine is generally considered safe for healthy adults at recommended amounts. Any early change on the scale is water held inside muscle. Talk to your doctor first if you're pregnant or breastfeeding, have kidney disease or another condition, or take prescription medication.

What is creatine?
